The CEAG member FRIWO establishes "FRIWO DO BRASIL"

Bad Homburg v. d. Hoehe, 1st August, 2001
FRIWO Geraetebau GmbH, a member of the publicly quoted CEAG AG and with 22 percent world market leader in chargers for mobile phones, expands to South America. The establishing of an own sales office "FRIWO DO BRASIL" and the closing of a co-operation contract with a Brazilian enterprise for the manufacture of power supplies and chargers extends the geografical portfolio of the company. At the same time it is an excellent starting point for the penetration of the entire South American market, says Rolf Endress, CEO of the CEAG AG and president of FRIWO, in São Paulo at the ratification of the co-operation contract with Messrs. DYNALF.
DYNALF and FRIWO will supply international customers.
"We will grow together" Endress and the DYNALF CEOs Ezequiel França and Alfredo Bustamente praised the perspectives of the co-operation in unison. An initial order has already been received.
Due to the Brazilian manufacture, the products are viewed as local goods which leads to custom and import tax reductions and yields considerable price and, last but not least, competitive advantages.
The strategic orientation for the growing South American market will primarily focus on the telecommunication market. Later on, FRIWO and DYNALF will also expand their activities to other business fields like the IT and medical technology.
