FRIWO launches innovative power supply
FRIWO presents a new type of switching power supplies for the first time. The UP-USB is the ideal solution for operating or charging mobile USB applications computer-independently. This compact and highly efficient power supply can be installed into existing in-wall sockets without any complications. Due to the two USB ports, two mobile applications can be charged at the same time.
The UP-USB provides a current up to 1400mA at an output voltage of 5V and offers a wide-range input (100-240V) for global use as standard. Furthermore the power supply is current-limited, voltage regulated and sustained short-circuit proof.
During the development of the UP-USB, great importance was attached to the latest guidelines of the different energy efficiency programmes. With a no-load power ≤ 300mW and the high efficiencies at every power level, the UP-USB complies with the compulsory limits of ErP (Energy related Products).
Many mobile phones come with micro-USB ports as well as smartphones, navigation systems, mp3 players and other mobile applications will be operated by USB in the future. The UP-USB is a first-class solution for households and offices to be well-prepared for the future by now.
