Discover how FRIWO practices sustainability

As an international company, we employ more than 1,000 employees and consider ourselves responsible for them and their families. Finding the right work-life balance is of paramount importance at FRIWO. Our focus on this ensures that we and our customers are served by a highly motivated and committed workforce.

Continuous innovation is a way for us to break new ground when it comes to sustainability. Optimizing the use of resources in the manufacture of our products is key for this. At the same time, we continuously reduce the amount of energy our devices consume and involve our products in sustainable markets such as electromobility. To this end, we maintain and cultivate an open knowledge exchange network and learn from one another and together every day.

Sustainability

Living responsibility, shaping the future

Sustainability is an integral part of our corporate strategy – and actively lived across all areas. As an internationally operating company with over 1,000 employees, we take responsibility – also for their families. Achieving a balance between work and family life is of central importance to us, as a healthy work-life balance is the foundation for motivation and commitment.

We develop innovative solutions that help our customers use energy-efficient and resource-saving technologies. At the same time, we continuously optimize resource use in our production and reduce the energy consumption of our devices. With our products, we are committed to sustainable markets such as e-mobility and maintain an open network with knowledge carriers from whom we learn every day.

Our ESG focus areas include environmental responsibility, social sustainability, corporate integrity, and governance. We rely on transparent processes, clear standards, and a strong ESG committee that coordinates cross-functional measures and ensures compliance with regulatory requirements.

We foster a working environment based on openness, fairness, and continuous development. Our employees are the key to our success – which is why we invest in their safety, health, and personal growth. Together with our partners, we are shaping a greener future.

Coordination and management

Sustainability – strategically anchored, clearly managed.

Responsibility for sustainability at FRIWO is clearly structured and anchored at various levels of corporate management. The Executive Board bears overall responsibility for environmental, social, and governance (ESG) issues, while a specialized ESG committee ensures implementation and monitors progress.

The ESG committee coordinates cross-divisional measures and develops strategies for compliance with regulatory requirements such as the CSRD and EU taxonomy. Sustainability issues are integrated into the corporate strategy and monitored through regular reporting to the Supervisory Board and internal and external audits.

Resource-efficient processes for a more climate-friendly future.

Sustainable management at FRIWO stands for the responsible use of resources and the continuous optimization of processes. Through sustainable product solutions and the development of chargers and power supplies for electrical applications, FRIWO supports the electrification of various devices and contributes to reducing the carbon footprint.
