FRIWO Battery Pack 14S12P

The FRIWO 14S12P battery pack provides a powerful, long-lasting energy source with a nominal capacity of 40.2 Ah and a nominal energy of 2026 Wh.

The maximum charge voltage is 58.8 V with a maximum charge current of 20 A. For demanding applications, a maximum continuous discharge current of 70 A is available.

The safety design of the battery pack is certified according to IEC 62133-2:2017 and UN38.3, meeting stringent requirements for safety and reliability, especially in professional and safety-critical applications.

FRIWO Li-Ion Charger LEV500

The FRIWO LEV500 Li-ion charger is designed for input voltages from 220 to 240 Vac and delivers a charging voltage of 58.8 Vdc; further voltage variants are available on request.

The output current is adjustable from 0 to 8.5 A, with a maximum output power of 500 W. With a peak efficiency of 93 %, the charger operates highly efficiently. Thanks to its IP65 protection rating, it is protected against dust and water jets, making it suitable for demanding environmental conditions.

The design complies with the safety requirements of IEC 60335-1 and IEC 60335-2-29.

Fast Charger for mass market

Challenge:
A leading E-Bike manufacturer required a powerful charger for its battery systems, supporting 42 V DC output with selectable 4 A or 6 A current, meeting IP40 protection standards, EN60335-1/-2 safety requirements and including CAN bus communication for the 6 A version.

FRIWO’s Solution:
We developed a compact fast charger tailored to these specifications. The unit features a durable IP40 rated housing, making it suitable for indoor use. Both the 4A and 6A versions include CAN bus integration to enable intelligent communication between the charger and the E-Bike system, ensuring ptimised charging performance and battery longevity.
