2008 CEAG AG sells the FRIWO Mobile Power (FMP) business unit to a subsidiary of Singapore based Flextronics International Ltd. (NASDAQ: FLEX).

2003 Possibly a new record: The end of November sees the 750 millionth charger come off the production line. FRIWO is compatible with the ROSETTA.NET B2B platform.
 
2002 April: Strategic realignment: two independently operating business units are formed: FRIWO Mobile Power (FMP) and FRIWO Power Solutions (FPS), with production concentrated at locations in China and Ostbevern (Germany). October: The 600 millionth charger is produced.
 
2001 Founding of a FRIWO marketing company in Tokyo/Japan and of Sao Paulo-based FRIWO do Brasil. The 500 millionth charger is produced.
 
2000 February sees production of the 300 millionth charger. In October, the production plant of FRIWO CEAG Electrical (Shenzhen) Company Ltd. becomes an independent subsidiary of FRIWO Gerätebau GmbH. Weekly production has risen to 3 million units.
 
1995 The 100 millionth charger leaves the workpiece-carrier final assembly line. The new EMC test centre is inaugurated.
 
1992 The company is the first in its sector to be certified in accordance with DIN EN ISO 9001.
 
1990 Establishment of FRIWO Far East Ltd., with the production plant in Shajing (China). FRIWO sets up a marketing office in the USA. Annual sales DM 100 million.
 
1988 The first automated final-assembly systems go into operation. Weekly production increases to 100,000 units.
 
1983 CEAG AG takes over FRIWO. The world's first electronic plug-in power supply device - designed as a primary switch-mode regulator - is brought onto the market.
 
1977 Stock market listing of CEAG AG
 
1971 Friemann & Wolf (FRIWO) develops and produce the world's first plug-in power supply device. Weekly production totals 1,000 units.
