The FRIWO brand
The "FRIWO" brand was established on the market by the company Friemann & Wolf Gerätebau GmbH, which was founded in 1971. The brand identity is linked to the development of the world's first plug-in power supply in the same year, and to the subsequent breakthrough of this technology. The growing success of the FRIWO external power-supply adapter has continued unabated for over 30 years.
Today CEAG AG, with its FRIWO subsidiaries, is now a world leader in the manufacture of power-supply units and chargers. FRIWO equipment is to be found in a very wide range of fields, such as telecommunications, consumer electronics, medical technology, information technology, office equipment and industry. FRIWO products have become an important part of day-to-day life and offer the user a high degree of mobility - for example, one in every four mobile phones today is equipped with a "FRIWO" charger.
